We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Litigation Legal Assistant to join our downtown San Diego office. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with at least eight years of California-based civil and labor & employment litigation experience who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive litigation support to attorneys across all phases of case management
  • Prepare, proofread, revise, and finalize legal documents with accuracy and consistency
  • Perform e-filing in California state, federal, and appellate courts
  • Maintain confidential files, records, legal documents, and reports
  • Submit intake and conflicts checks; assist with time entry and client billing
  • Manage attorney calendars; schedule travel, meetings, court appearances, and conferences
  • Utilize electronic document management systems efficiently
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • High school diploma (college degree preferred)
  • Minimum 8 years of civil and labor & employment litigation experience
  • California-specific litigation experience required
  • In-depth knowledge of California and federal court filing rules, procedures, and calendaring
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Professional
  • Strong organizational, communication, and client service skills
  • Excellent writing, proofreading abilities, and exceptional attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $75,000-$100,000/year
    Compensation is based on location, experience, education, skills, and job-related factors.
